NOTES FOR PIN PAD INSTALLATION
If installing a new till with Ocius installed, to avoid any conflicts:
Go to run and enter regedit
expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
expand SOFTWARE
highlight COMMIDEA and delete
Go to ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMES in Control Panel
Highlight Ocius installer and click CHANGE/REMOVE
On the InstallShield Wizard. click REMOVE
This will have uninstalled the ocius software from the till
Run through the set up again from scratch using the details for
the 'new store' location following the steps below.

RUN OCIUS FOR PC from C:\JGV602\JG OCIUS\Commidea\setup.exe
Follow the install wizard.
When you get to the features to sellect, all boxes will be ticked...
DESELECT ALL FEATURES EXCEPT OCIUS FOR PC
COPY 3 FILES FROM TEMPLATE IN C:\JGV602\JG OCIUS\Commidea
PROGRAMMES.SETTINGS.CCF
OCIUS.INI
TERMINALGUID.DAT
PASTE THESE INTO C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMIDEA\OCIUS FOR PC
Double click the yellow icon on the desktop to open the Ocius software
Click CONTINUE
Enter the 4 digit login id eg [0][2][1][2] This takes the form of the store number
Enter the 4 digit pin eg [0][2][1][2] This takes the form of the store number
Use the following GUID?
Press YES
At registration screen, change COM1 to COM2
This will go through the final set up of the pin pad.
Delete the icon from the desktop.
In the bottom right had corner of the tool bar double tap the small yellow icon and EXIT application.
In C:\JGV602\JG OCIUS\Paypoint
Change the following files
EFTLINK.MAK on the botton line enter the unique 3 character account code. (Find that here)
T0000001.in eg change L,1234,1234,0012,0041 the first two sets of four digits need to be
set to the store id 0212,0212
T0000001.fullaccess.txt eg change L,1234,1234,0017,01FF the first two sets of four digits need to be
set to the store id 0212,0212
Once these have been saved,
The following files need to be copied to C:\JGV602\Till\System
ascii.kbm
CARDTYPE.DAT
All of the remaining files need to be copied to C:\JGV602\Till\System\custom
The till software can then be started in the normal way.
